Pokeweed is coming up now too. It is excellent wild food. Nothing else tastes like it. Look for last year's old stems and you will find the new shoots coming up from the roots beside the old stems. . The picture is from yesterday April 28, the poke sprouts are poking up, break them off and cook them up.
