At the Farmer's Market on 5th St. Saturday May 30, a lot of vendors had asparagus for sale. These are pictures taken about 8 am, better go there now to get some because later in the morning there will be a huge crowd and this may be gone. I'll get back on the blog later to report if there was anything left by 12 noon. This may be the last weekend for getting asparagus too, the asparagus season is about over.
Update: By a little before noon a few vendors had run out of asparagus but there was still some available at the market. If you miss the Farmer's market try going to Main St. Wine & Cheese, they are open until 6 pm. Saturdays and weekdays. One of the booths selling asparagus today was Main St. Wine & Cheese and after the farmer's market they moved what asparagus they had left to their Main St. store (between 10th & 11th St.) Here is a link to a previous post which shows where this is:
