Sunspot Market Wednesday May 20

The West Lafayette Farmer's Market is now going on Wednesdays at Cumberland Park. It seemed fairly busy there last Wednesday, what with the nice weather and all. One booth had three varieties of local-grown popcorn for sale. I bought some and popped some of it at home, it turned out pretty good. After the farmer's market closed I stopped by the Sunspot market, here are some pictures of what they have there now that is locally produced. Pictures taken Wednesday May 20.

This fresh oregano has some zip to it. Fresh oregano is much better than the dried powdered prepackaged stuff you get.

They make this salsa in Brookston and bring it in to the Sunspot for sale.

The egg supplier stopped into the Sunspot after closing up at the Farmer's Market, they resupplied the shelves with a fresh batch of eggs.
