This is purslane. This is another of the best wild foods to eat. It's everywhere in the middle of the summer (now). The purslane in the picture is growing in a soybean field but it's in your garden too, and in your back yard. Pick a sprig and munch it and you will see what I mean. Picture taken June 25, 2009.
